Approach to Avoid Encroachment
One critical aspect lingering in our mind is about encroachment in our land.
There are different types of encroachment bothering landowners, to name a few:
- ✅ Physical encroachment - Illegal construction of fences, sheds, walls beyond land boundaries and using as footpath/unauthorized parking of vehicles.
- ✅ Natural encroachment - Flooding/drainage issues from adjacent land, roots of trees from one land extending to others causing damage.
- ✅ Government encroachment - The purpose of constructing roads, highways, or public utilities.
- ✅ Fencing and boundary disputes - Landowners mistakenly/intentionally placing fences/markers beyond land boundaries encroaching neighbors' land.
- ✅ Landfill or waste disposal encroachment - Illegal dumping of waste and garbage materials.
- ✅ Recreational encroachment - Use of land for social events, gatherings, or activities without permission.
The above aspects were clearly briefed to Athreyan, and he understood that waste disposal and natural encroachment into his land was a reason for concern. Now he was worry-free as Nilam Insights had taken over to protect his land.
The designated person started periodical visits to his land. They started finding ways of clearing it, and Athreyan was regularly updated on the progress. He was also explained about proper measuring of his land, marking boundary lines, and fencing to protect it.
